iPhone 7 And iPhone 7 Plus Third Party Case Images Confirm Design Tweaks And Enhanced Camera Features

Apple’s rumored Sept. 7 iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus event is quickly approaching. Leaked images of third party cases for the new smartphones confirm their design and camera enhancements.

Samsung just released its latest and greatest, flagship Galaxy Note 7 and the device appears to be a huge success for the company. The new Coral Blue color option is proving to be the one that is in most demand, and has been delayed a few weeks in the U.S.

The 5.7-inch Samsung Galaxy Note 7’s main competitor, the 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus is gearing up to battle the S Pen-toting smartphone, and the 4.7-inch iPhone 7 clearly will have the 5.1-inch Galaxy S7 in its sights.

Every year that Apple introduces new iPhone models, it always improves the rear cameras on the smartphones, which continue to be the most used cameras on Flickr, edging out professional camera makers like Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm, Panasonic, and Olympus.

This year will be no different for Apple and its iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, which have been rumored to ship with upgraded and feature rich rear cameras. A series of images of the next-generation iPhones confirmed that the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will indeed ship with larger rear shooters.

The iPhone 7 will be the first 4.7-inch iPhone to gain OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) capabilities, something that has been reserved for all of the company’s 5.5-inch Plus models. Recently leaked images of the Space Black iPhone 7 Plus appear to back up reports that it will use an enhanced dual-lens rear camera.

Now, new images of what are reportedly third party protective cases and bumpers for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus confirm that the upcoming iPhones will retain the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus overall design and measurements but larger rear camera cutouts. The source also provided an inventory list for the cases and bumpers, which promise a Sept. 15 delivery date, pointing to a likely Sept. 23 release.

The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will be the first devices from Apple to ship with iOS 10 out of the box and both models will reportedly include variants that will top out at 256 GB of internal storage. The current iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus both max out at 128 GB.

Apple is also reportedly planning to use a new 3D Force Touch Home button, abandon the standard 3.5mm headphone port and ship Lightning EarPods in the box of every iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.
